Execution
Understanding the accessibility guidelines
Learning and enhancing the latest accessibility standards as per the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) guidelines. Upscaling in understanding how accessibility across all digital assets would help my team achieve inclusive design. Learning on how to Implemented keyboard navigation, ARIA landmarks, and other accessibility features to enhance usability for users with motor impairments with an objective to introduce and implement accessibility in the procrss
Conducting Accessibility Audit
Took the initiative to audit and assess developed components and pattern on storybook applications for accessibility compliance. This involved using automated accessibility testing tools (WAVE, Adobe color contrast checker), manual testing the ARIA labels, roles and states.
