Problem Statement
The current Spirit Airline App has loopholes and makes it difficult for the user to easily navigate their search, find their baggage details, travel requirements, and have a better user experience of the app.
User Testing Scenario
You are a travel enthusiast and wish to travel to places in Texas. You have a lot of luggage and always wish to track your luggage. You use the Spirit Airline app and check your luggage by scanning the barcode of your boarding pass or if you have booked the flight through an app the baggage details are already in there, thus the user must only click on track on the baggage page to check the location of the same and once you land you get a notification that the luggage was ready for pick up.

KJ Analysis: Research Report
-
The UI seems friendly.
-
The content on the travel requirement page needs to be aligned well.
-
The baggage icon can be different.
-
The home page seems decent and attractive, but can highlight “Prepare for your trip content”
-
The hamburger menu includes icons that can be removed for better readability.
-
To not break the flow developing the travel checklist would be impactful.
Observations:
-
The home page of the spirit airline was minimum and easy for the user to navigate.
-
The baggage icon on the homepage was not noticed by the user.
-
It was easy for the user to navigate the same from the Hamburger menu.
-
The flow of the app seemed simple to the user.
-
It was interesting to see users surprised to check the baggage just by scanning the boarding pass which usually is handy when you travel
Improvements:
-
In my opinion, the overall interface worked for the user.
-
The changes that I wish to make is amongst the icon.
-
Make a few of the texts more prominent than including the home page
-
“Prepare for your trip”, and the texts on the Travel requirement page.
-
Add the travel checklist page and the Bar code scanning page to have a complete look and frame in the design for a better understanding of the user.
